Paul, are you in the yellow pages or thompson?

Do you get alot of calls from it?how much did it cost?cheers gerry

The yellow pages ad is £400 and something.
If you look in your yellow pages you will see it .
Its a box ad down as 1st class cleaning
Its paid for its self but i don't really get much from it.
I get a lot of calls but most are miles away like maidstone or sheerness and they are usually small 2 or 3 bed jobs.

do you get alot of commercial from it
-
I wish virtually all the calls i get from it are domestic.
If i do it again i will go for a smaller ad and try for commercial only.
My commercial i have got have all been either from recommendations or from my van signwritting.

I am actually thinking of employing a part time canvasser and if it works out well will make them full time.
I hate canvassing but don't want a company doing it for me i would rather take someone on and get them to do it the way i want.

I have my customers pay either cash if they are there at the time of cleaning or by bank transfer/internet banking. I am not intending on door knocking to collect money.
To date it is working very well.
Cheers
Dave.

I learned years ago.
I always tell my customers I do not go collecting.
You pay me when I finish.
Or you send me a cheque
Or you pay me next time(I only do them twice, if payment is not made I stop until it is)
Or bank transfer
I may have a very rare exception for old folks, I'll pick it up when passing, but they're usually in anyway.
