I'm not sure what you mean by saying the site has disappeared. You can obviously still post!? I have had one other email saying they just get a blank page when they try to log on but other than that I can't see that there's anything wrong. A lot of topics have been deleted in the past hour (because of a jerk with nothing better else to do!) and I suspect Len was typing a reply to a topic that was deleted by the time he finished.

But it does sound strange.

One of the sites was closed down completely for several days the other is undergoing some rectification work but is still experiencing problems and may have to go off line

When a picture is posted in this section and I try to open it I get that message.

If I move the topic to Frequently asked questions I can open it.

Bit of a bind as I then have to move the topic back to this section.

But I think the problem that you are experiencing is due to topics being deleted

Post by: Steven Edwards on August 30, 2006, 07:49:22 pm: Adding to this topic, if the administrators start banning people and their last known IP address this is what can cause major problems for members logging on as they may use the same IP address. This happened on another forum and the admin had to reinstate all the IP addresses they had banned.
