Title: consevatory roof nightmare

cleaned a roof today it looked mega but about 2 mins from finish i knocked the middle finial down and can't reach to get it back any ideas much appreciated

Rachet a piece of 2x2 to the end of your ladder horizontally long enough to spread the weight on the bars, get some one to foot the ladder & up you go.

you can hire conservatory roof ladders from smiths as a safer option? ;)

That was something i was always worried about doing but so far never have.

It a shame you cant get like a really long litter picker type thing for situations like this.

sorry can't be of any help but the 2 x 2 tied on the top off a ladder and someone footing the ladder as Macc said would probably be the way to go
