Hi
Just got in from a job referral from a friend.
47m 1 bed flat, minimum furniture.
They were quoted from £50 -250 (CD being the £250)
As it was a friend of a friend and I had a spare spot I did it for £60 and took me an hour (dry to touch) plus removed some wax and some printer ink?
But £250 WOW!
Wonder if they are busy?

they don't need to be busy at them prices, they don't need a lot of jobs to make a good living.
perhaps they did'nt want the job so put in a high qoute.

Mike, well said mate. Martin why on earth would you do anything for 60 quid????Best, Dave.
-
As Mike said they don't need to be busy if they get one job in 4 they will make the same money as the people charging £60.00 never mind petrol, chems ,time ect.
Recently I have done two quotes and been told 'pilgrim payne quoted less' !!

As i said, it was an hours work and I had a space.
You guys really do need to read posts before you answer :P

careful Martin you'll get all the wafflers now criticizing you now for doing all that carpet in just 1 hour
who is going to be first to say "how can you clean 45m in an hour, it would take me an an hour to do the Dry vacuuming" ;D ;D

You were the first Mike. and I read the post but still wonder why you would do it for 60 quid. Itmeans you would do it agin so just shooting yourself in your foot, just an opinion, best, Dave. As to the time of what was cleaned we all know it cant be done .......

Hi
My system is LM and it can be very much and was done in an hour.
Just because you cannot do it with HWE doesn't mean it cannot be done and done well.
As long as my customers remain happy, that's good enough for me.

Are you asking Martin what LM system he uses? If so wont get a reply, but on good authority the snow drop/shack and vac system!
Martin
Your system you think the DB, You would have walked away from a job I looked at last month and that would be the only system to use!
Are you a franchisee?

Dear Len
I have been on this forum for about 3 years now, and have learned one important thing.
Dont read your replys as they make me dizzy trying to figure out what your on about ,then I end up with a headache . :-\

Wot the ..... I have done dozens of 1 bed flats in an hour and £60/h is obviously a good price for a cleaner. I have not a single callback and all my customers are very happy.
-
Hi
Hey Len, how they hanging... ;)
It's not that it's the Mutts Nuts, I just love the system, used it for 3 years (soley) and my clients remain happy, which is the main thing.
Look, it not 'Jesus in a bottle' no system is and as long as we are all happy with our results, then thats good enough
A Franchise...argh, no way! had two of those (non cleaning) never again.
Like Neil says, £60 an hour is good wedge, i would that 8 hours a day no probs.

Dear Neil ;D
Know about head headache! Bit lost on your reply, you need to see the job and there spec, no way achievable to there spec it needed more! Foot in mouth this time, methinks, didn’t the iicrc teach you anything!
Martin
Very well thanks!
Never been called Jesus in a bottle, wrong religions, what’s that called (reptile = money)
£60 good, my aim £120, sometimes get it, but never on domestic.
