Title: Help! Removing brick sealant
Post by: fez on April 12, 2004, 02:34:07 pm
Hi.

I picked up a couple of new houses on Saturday where the glass is heavily covered in a brick sealant. Any ideas how I can remove this?

Is there a specialist product I could try? All the UPVC is coated as well and looks a real mess.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Steve. ???

Hi fez
I had the same problem a while back and posted this

Unfortunatly I was never able to test anything on the glass as just after I posted it I got a phone call from the customer asking me to drop them from the round ( they had a genuine reason, and no it was nothing to do with my work)  ;D
So I will be interested to hear how you get on.
