Bathroom carpets are notorious for having some of the strangest stains. Not surprising considering what goes on in there. Lots of chemical spills from make up and medications, body fluids, urine and lots of mould damage due to carpet becoming wet over and over again from people getting in and out the bath/shower.

Re Blitz

At Peter reeds (woodbridge) day out last Sat both Len and Steve Gunn said they had given up on M/S and now prefered blitz. Between them they know a thing or two!

Blitz is very high PH, what are you rinsing with Len / Steve?

I have been using Blitz this week, and so far I am impressed, but I am rinsing with Chem spec High heat, which is an acid side detergent.

regards

Chris

No unless its trashed and I have explained to the customer the reasons behind it.

what can happen if you dont rinse

I have been using blitz for a few months now for about 80% of my cleans,I use a wool safe micro splitter on good wool carpets.
It is vastly better than micro splitters but has a very high ph so is good for synthetics but be careful on wool.
I do use it on trashed or wool blends and as long as you use it hot and give it plenty of agitation then it is the dogs  dangly bits.
If you are new or inexperienced pre test it first.

Bill

Don’t know I always rinse. water good so is fabric and fibre and also Hydra-Dri to name a few.

Chris R

Yes most of mine are trashed but do come across a relatively new carpet say 6mth to year old carpet with the black sock syndrome/TV feet.

Woolsafe ADMINISTATORS is Steve Gunn allowed too do that even on a trashed carpet??? Next he will be saying POG.

Before anyone jumps get a sample and try it!

Len
