has anyone used an advertising agency to advertise there business? was it a good investment? what did you get? and is it worth going down this road with regards to advertising?

I havent used an advertising agency but I use free websites such as gumtree, viva street, yell.com, liverpool free exchange house-cleaning-uk.co.uk
I also paid £300 for the year to be listed on city visitor website which I have more than earned back already 2 months on.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I paid for an ad on City Visitor, Touch Local & Cleaners Local and in the last year have only had two contracts from them.
I suppose thats paid for the ad and was worth it in some way but most of my contracts have been through flyers, sending letters and contacting companies direct.
