Hi All
I have been reading information on here, Saying to cut your rubber and make the squeege ends Dog Ears.
Can anyone please send a photo of what this should look like, or even try to describe how i do it.
Any help would be great
Thanks Dave

\----------------/. thats the angle of the cut rubber. It is cut so the top of the rubber is wider than the bottom.

See the bit I'm pointing to? Put that In a vice and bend inwards a little untill it bens the rubber a litt inwards? And cut the rubber as described In the previous post. Hope that makes sense?
I tried It on a old squeegee and didn't like It.
But try It

Dog earing the channel is what makes the difference. It's not cutting the rubber its bending the tips of the channels slightly towards the rubber. It puts that little extra pressure on the end and takes more of the water away from the edges.

Hi Thanks
Ducky or Mark any chance of the photo

Also when you bend, will this make the rubber harder to insert through channel?
And what is the correct size to have the rubber protruding out from the edges of the channel?

Just bend the channel corners until they touch the rubber. The idea is to stop the rubber bending back when you do the edges of the pane. If the rubber is allowed to bend back then it will leave a small line of water that then needs to be removed with a scrim. Dai
