Title: Sebo BS36
Post by: Adam Young on August 16, 2006, 03:41:09 pm
Oh Knowledgable Ones. I have a question. ???

I just recieved a brand new SEBO BS 36  on the alumin handle tube  that runs the length of the front of the machine, there is an air hole on the back of this tube just at the bottom on the inside at the front lifting recess. This seems to be sucking in a little air and giving a bit of air noise. Is this normal and a design feature serving some purpose? I don't remember seeing this on the machine at the NCCA course but then It was'nt mine and I was'nt looking in detail.

Awaiting you're comments,

Adam

Thanks Andy,

I was getting a  bit worried in case it was faulty and I had to return it. I'll give it a proper try out in the house in the morning :)

Cheers,

Adam.

It seems to me Sebo must be mixing the parts up a little. The felix premium has an adjustable handle height hence the holes for locking  purposes.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for that. I'll give Sebo a call about this, as on the my BS36 it is allowing some kind of air passage from the bag housing to the handle. Not a big deal, a couple of turns of insulation tape would stop this, but when you pay a bit of money for a new machine you want it right!.

I'll post a response when I speak to them.
