thinking of starting a wheelie bin round need some info on best equiptmment people are using and what a hours per day you would expect to work for what money at say 3 pound per bin

this is something i feel that must be entered into in a proper maner. For example, I was going out the end of our street on Thursday (bin day) and notced a white van with two guys on the floor just behind it, the driver sat in driving seat. One of the guys at the back had a powere washer lance in his hand the hose came from within the van, so obviously there is a tank of water and a generator in the van. The other guy was holdng a wheelie bin on it's side whilst the first guy washed it out, and you guessed tipped the dirty water into the gutter/street drain. Now I'm no business guru, but I do know it's highly illegal to tip poluted water down a surface water drain. I think they should have a recycled water and containment tank so they can discharge the dirty water down a sewer/fowl drain, and that needs a licence to discharge of the environment agency, and a waste carriers licence for their van

I would sugest you base your plan on 1 man 1 van 100 bins per day
It is possible to do a lot more than this we have rounds where 1 man does 150 per day on bigger rounds above 150 we put on 2 men.
Cheers
