Title: Thermo pure

does anyone know what ionic's use to heat there water in their Thermo Pure systems?
any advice would be great.

think its heated via the fuel tank.diesel

I believe so.  Just to add to that I recall being told that the diesel could be supplied from the usual fuel tank OR an extra diesel tank can be fitted so allowing much cheaper red (tax free) diesel to be used.  Presumably the latter will incur a much higher start-up cost but with lower running costs.

Its a deisel heater similar to the type used as ovenight cab heaters in trucks.

You can always do like I've done and fit a large 'calorifier tank' (indirect boiler), connect the coil up to the radiator off of your engine and heat your water up from the engine whilst you're driving along. It warms my WFP water up lovely, no more cold water! It works along the same principles as a diesel burning heater by storing heat through a heat exchanger.
