Title: brass fittings

can i get your help folks, i use brass fittings on hose reels yet when i disconect the water keeps shooting out,is there better fittings for this? (as i use a thermo -pure i need brass ones)

hi woodsey, i use thes couplings, put the larger one you see in the pic from the pump, so when you disconnect no water passes

i have t p as well same prob i was told not to use air line fitting as they r ferrous metal and will make the water not pure not tried tds reading at the brush end though if anyone has plz let us no cheers edd

hi why not give brodex in southport a phone they do high pressure fitting for stardard hose and when you dissconnect it turns water off

that sounds perfect as brass is the right metal non ferrous and wont rust like the air line ones cheers Edd
