Title: How much would you charge?
Post by: Chris R on August 13, 2006, 04:39:19 pm
This is a photo of a call centre carpet that I cleaned last Friday.
Just wondered how much you would have charged for it ?
Its 560 sq yds in total.
The room was empty ( new tennants coming in Monday).
But the floor was very dusty, with bits of paper, rubber bands etc all over it.
About 30 pieces of blue tac stuck to it.

Its an upstairs room ( with a lift), but the only water is downstairs.

On the plus side it did have a FREE drinks machine on site !
Regards
Chris

i think youre pretty much on the money there Doug-i would be looking at pound a yard for one empty room. doddle really. furniture etc then possibly double that! although i would be wanting a hosepipe from nearest water source.  ;)

I recon £600-£700 would be about right. However, in my (limited) experience carpet tiles are a bit of a pain as they are easily dislodged if using suction.

I charged £390 for it.  :)

That works out at .70p per sq yard.  :-[

It took me 6 hours ( with Dry Fusion).

Dont get a sweat on with the price per sq yard.

Look at the profit for 6 hours ( VERY EASY) work.    8)

Cheers

Nice one Chris ;D even though you have a TM its important to own/use all differernt systems, i think DF is the best for commercial cleaning.

Chris if you are happy with £390 well **** the rest, but you do know you're on to a good hiding when advertising prices you charge!!!!!

A very good quality job, well done.

Personally I would have gone in at £650-700 but I'm booked up so I can afford to be greedy ;D

But irrelivant of what anybody charges it looks fantastic and that's what counts.Period. What ever. Minger.Yeah but no but may be.
