Title: Window Cleaning Tenders
Post by: DASERVICES on August 11, 2006, 11:51:25 am

Need your thoughts on this please guys, there is a huge tender that has been
put out here in Scotland around £46k.

Thinking about putting a tender in but the only plus point I see is the revenue.

The huge big problem I see is that I would have to employ an extra guy if
I got it, no probs there but if I lost it next year then the guy is redundant.

Was thinking of going in with other w/c around here but that creates
  other probs.

For those of you who have handled contracts this big how have you gone
  about it, your tips please.

Interesting though the guides and rules seem to point for use of WFP only.

Here are some points they have made

  1) Washed leathers, scrim, squeegies or any other types of cleaning cloths will
      not be used.  ???
  2) The ladder should not extend no more than 1.1 metre.

  Thanks

  Doug
