Hi Nige the big advantage with A frame ladders is that you can rest them right in the top corner of the window rather than having to use them at right angles to the wall all the time. They can also be rested on the horizontal and vertical seperators found on commercial windows. I dont enjoy using ladders of any sort so I tend to use a pole wherever I can and I specialise in bungalow work! If I had to use a ladder though then I would go for the A frame. The best place to get them from is Lansford Access in Bristol. They may be able to help with the replacement feet you were after as well

Rain rain rain... hmmm, think I'll start a thread that asks what everyone else does when its raining... ;D :P
I worked, but then I'm a Geordie, not a fluffy cat. Besides, we're off on a long weekend to Devon next weekend. WOW. So I need the dosh.

i worked 9 till 4 today ,not a rain drop in sight.
came home £240 richer .half COMMERCIAL half domestic
(yes i know the taxman reads this forum, it will be fully declared)
its a sad life aint it .
all earned without a wfp or uniform or rubber gloves for the lead ,
no microfibre either and no shiny van .and i was unshaven and a dodgy ladder and ripped jeans.
oh yes dont forget the 15 year old volvo with a dodgy exhaust.
and my skinhead.
god i hate this job

Nice one David! Good on yer! I worked 7am to 9.30am on commercial when it rained pretty heavily until 2.30pm when I did a bit more (domestic) until 5pm and ended up with a respectable (I think) £130. And my cars only 14 years old!

We're going to have to clip your claws Mr.Cat.
Or maybe take you to the vets to have you "done"! ;D

Thanks for the character assassination Graham - mind you I notice it was one of your late night posts so perhaps you'd been at the catnip eh?
And this hypocrisy from a guy who was posting at 9.53am and 3.15pm on a Monday! Perhaps you were catnapping? ;D

There's a window cleaner on this forum who lives not far from me. He has embroidered uniforms, smart van; quality pure water set up, who makes probably twice as much as me (and Wor Lass) in half the time.
That's who I'd like to be like.
