Just had a bill from ADT for re-setting burglar alarm - less than 10 minutes work - £155.00.  ???

Nice work if you can get it.

couldnt you reset it yourself?

i pay £28 per annum to my burgler alarm company, this covers an annual check of the system and call outs if neccasary
