Title: Global Contracters
Post by: smp cleaning on August 07, 2006, 05:18:48 pm
Hi, we have been  running a few Global contracts for just over a year, and we are now having a few problems regarding some of these contracts.

We would like to know if there are any other Global contracters having any problems with their Global contracts.

I recently was asked by an accountant to qoute for his office cleaning, he wanted mon, wed, fri 2 hrs per clean and all rubbish removed and disposed of with some kind of proof of where his rubbish was going.
I quoted £240 per month for this service which is very low compared to my normal rates.
He was no way having this and tried to get me down to £130 per month as thats what he pays to Global who he has just found out has been fly tipping his rubbish for the last two years.
I would have been taking his rubbish to the tip and getting a receipt for this, i personally think hes a nutter and also im not sure how his current contractor can make a profit from that ammount.
Maybe its me thats the nutter  :-\

Hi
you could tell him you have to take into account your overheads and you also need a waste licence.

Hi
I used to work with Global for about 4 months. What a complete Mickey Mouse operation. You don't need them! Offer a quality service &  stick to your guns on pricing. More and more Companies are looking for quality and are fed up being ripped off. I just secured a contract that Global lost.I beat 4 other tenders for the job and ours was the most expensive.
