Title: DriMaster vs CFR
Post by: Kev Loomes on August 06, 2006, 10:23:19 am
Looking to upgrade on my hand tool from the excellent (but getting old) Kleenrite 3" (swivel head, enclosed jet).

Cannot make up my mind ???, has anyone used both and if so - which one is better in terms of weight, usability and results?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

I have just recently sold my drimaster tool as I find the cfr tool so much better. They both take some getting used to but with the cfr having a trigger it wins my vote

I currently use a DriMaster. I am still not sure if I like it above a regular Upholstery tool. No over spray is nice, although you can alter liquid flow, I seem to get through loads more rinse liquid. Its very easy to put down and forget its still working. The all in one pipe system is good. The jury is still out as far as I am concerned re the DriMaster tool.

I haven't used the Dry-master tool so I can't comment on it...the cfr handtool is great.

I like the total control it gives me. I can increase the airflow and I can change the jets very easily and quickly to suit the various fabrics that I clean.

I do go along with the fact it takes some getting used to

Hi Steve

Am I being a bit thick? but I didnt think the CFR handtools have triggers, only a disc to control suction ??? with the fluid being continuous flow?

Sorry for sounding daft as Ive seen one in action, and cant see a trigger on any pictures either!
