Title: Need to hire a steampro 2000 or similar
Post by: ian loughlin on August 05, 2006, 02:37:31 pm
Im looking to hire a carpet cleaner by the week , month, so i can start to build a small cuctomer base in my local town. Rather than jump in at the deep end with loans etc; i would prefur to save for a prochem steam pro 2000 and a van.

Not getting much luck looking on internet, only thing i can find offers a machine for £80 per week,     min 4 weeks hire + vat . i would have a job to break even at that rate. NEARLY £400 PER MONTH

The machine dose;nt have to be the pro 2000, its just thats what i will be buying and is a good machine for a good job on residetial homes.

ANY ADVICE PLEASE..MAYBE SOME WEB ADDRESS.......! THANKYOU. :) :)

It'd probably be cheaper to buy a machine IMO.

Perhaps there is someone on here that will hire you a machine for a sensible fee?

Maybe a good idea to check out leasing a machine,Craftex have a Grace machine available for lease at very reasonable rates, this machine has similar performance to the Steempro.-John

Hi Ian, Where are you based

I am in clevedon, North somerset, nr Bristol.
My idea of grouping together a bunch of jobs over the course of a few weeks, allows me to hire a machine at a cheeper rate ... more expensive per day.

I am a taxi driver full time but can be flexible to clean in between. I want to get the ball rolling so that people know about me, but also raise some extra cash to buy my own machine.
