Title: cleaning wand valve

i got an old wand, been stored some time and valves gone black (brass)

has anyone cleaned one up sucessfully?

i was thinking brasso but they so interacut maybe if i use a toohbrush to apply?

or is there any kind of dip i could use?

advice appreciated, craig.

or you could try vinegar or ammonia. I usually put my brass fittings in descaler.

put it in some fat coke and it will come up like new, about 12hrs

thanks neil, it did clean up, but ill try that see if it goes any better,

amazing we drink that stuff!!

cover in brown sasuce for one night it will shine like new!

give it a try it's great fun wth kids
