could someone tell me the best way to clean leaded windows? i cleaned some on saturday and they left marks on them.

spray window solution just a mist on them and buff them dry with scrim/microfibre just a bit more buffing if your in direct sunlight

WFP is very suitable, if you don't have that system then try a damp cloth followed by hard buffing. Try not to let the water dry before you buff.
Best wishes,

my wife makes stained glass and restores them . you should not clean them with anything except purified water. anything else can damage the lead so be careful. when she cleans old windows she spend ages cleaning with cotton buds
dipped in purified water to get rid of all the years of grime dont expect you to do thid but as i said be careful
