Title: New pump time then.
Post by: tlwcs on November 26, 2025, 01:34:29 pm
Last call yesterday I cleaned the backs, went round the front and no water?
A little time fannying but no joy so home for a better look.
Recalibrated the system and away she goes.
Got to work this morning and guess what, no water coming through. Smacked with a hammer and away it goes, only to stop again a couple of minutes later.
Can’t complain really it’s got to be 10 years old.

My pump went after a year so I bought 2 because I was expecting the other to go and that was 5 years ago. Always better to have a spare lying about so you can replace it right away. 😉

I like Flojet pumps, they last forever :)

Yes you’re right. However we downsized 6 years ago and now I’m part time without the large garage I had before so don’t store much now other than fittings.
A couple of days off and a busier week next week isn’t any drama.
