Hi there,

glad you have found the advice on this forum useful.

As for the WFP in winter, yes you can continue to use this system, just be careful with freezing temperatures. Take preventative action with your hoses, poles and connectors. Keep them out of Jack's reach!!

Best of luck,

Trev

Zeus,

I always like your posts.  Your unpretentious and honest.

I'll be the same with you.

WFP is a pain in the winter, unless you have a garage or a shed; somewhere where you can get your gear out of the freezing cold, so it's not all frozen up in the morning; a heater helps.

But, I usually dump all mine in the kitchen (much to the annoyance of Wor Lass); RO unit, poles and backpack.

Water barrels don't usually freeze; maybe only a little bit; so I put these into the car the evening before work.

Keep your gear out of the wind.

I remember leaving my brush out all night, and the first job in the morning, I touched it against a window and felt a 'thud'.

It was like putting a solid block of ice against a bit of glass.

Winter is a pain with WFP.
