My neck , Shoulders, Back etc are buggered from this job over the years and getting the ladders on and off the van isn't helping . My ladders are a bit heavy but I can't remember which ones are the light ones and as everything is done online these days can't even go and look for them .
Does anyone know which are the best, Lightest Double ladders out there ?
I do mainly gutter cleaning these days with some windows so need slightly longer ones.

Use a WFP and your customers tap.

Lyte ladders is what you need.
Phone them first and tell them you don't want them to fit the stabiliser and they will send it seperate from the ladder.

The lightest ladders will be DIY ladders with the red feet. But you don't want to be using them day in day out. Commercial ladders would be best, but heavier. I've got Lyte ladders.

The lightest ladders will be DIY ladders with the red feet. But you don't want to be using them day in day out. Commercial ladders would be best, but heavier. I've got Lyte ladders.
You don’t want to be using them at all, if you have an accident your insurance will be void!

I used to use this method until I got the tank system. All I do now is wet the SFG and then spray some hypo along and wait 10mins then go back and clean with cold water from the pole. This is the best and quickest method I have come to realise.

I wouldnt use the cheap ones which are light, they dont look safe, there flumsy and when I've seen people use them it looks like they would snap if used everyday.

Being in Scotland you probably spray half the country without realising it. You’ll no doubt also ruin most of the clothes you’re wearing, get it in your hair, eyes and cover the owners garden.
If you’re now going to say you wear PPE to protect yourself it’s not going to be as quick as you’re implying.

Being in Scotland you probably spray half the country without realising it. You’ll no doubt also ruin most of the clothes you’re wearing, get it in your hair, eyes and cover the owners garden.
If you’re now going to say you wear PPE to protect yourself it’s not going to be as quick as you’re implying.
Spraying with my wfp with jet nozzle from my PF trolly. Yes I have ruined many hats, caps and goggles but that's what I buy them for. The method suits me until something goes wrong I'll keep doing it.

Yes, bought 25 tubs of it when it was on sale and still have plenty of it. Use it when I'm not happy using the hypo. Looks more professional when spraying the area first and then going back to it.

Screwfix no nonsense degreaser basically does the same thing.
It will help soften it and make it easier to come off but hypo will kill it in a couple of muinits and turn it to a mush and one pass with the brush and it’s off , quick rinse job done , it does a much better job than any degreaser .
