Just wondering if there's anything new out there? Looking for something in-between an Ultimate and Xtreme. Must splay outwards from the ends and be soft. Don't mind oval either. 🤔

I use the 35cm xtreme sill brushes for most work these days with 4 x 1.4mm jets. They have short bristles and I find them pretty good for maintenance cleans. I use either the stiff or flocked versions. I've scratched quite a few upper sills using the standard extremes so these are great.
I also use a supreme sometimes which is good for hooking out spider eggs in the corner of frames

At least 50% of my work is sash and case windows and Xtremes can't get into the corners to hook the spiders nests out. 🥴

No the DuPont is quite stiff excellent brush though

That's a shame, I need a brush that requires minimal effort to splay out.

Is the dupont as soft as the flocked?
No. Personally I find them both to be good. The flocked is softer and is a little easier to work with but holds more dirt from cleaning sills.
I find the newer dupont version splays more than the older dupont supreme. I do not find it a difficult brush to work with.

I paid a lot less than that. They are worth it in my opinion compared to the other competitors, lighter than extreme brushes or about the same but built to last for years without losing any bristles plus the added advantage of scouring pads instead of bristles on the inside of the brushes shifts dirt more efficiently.

The 35cm Xtreme sill is VERY light and it covers the glass and sills very well. I use it with a carbon 10in gooseneck too so it's light as a feather. I can effectively clean upper sills at tight angles without scratching them.

If anyone made an add on to the ends of the Xtreme sill brush then it would be the best brush out there. If one could slip, bolt or fix a few ends that have bristles pointing horizontally then it would be great for sash windows and corners.
Or if Alex was to make a new Xtreme with ends like on the Sill brush then it would be the best all rounder.🤔🤔

im going to try a Gardiners Extreem Sill Flocked 4x pencil jets. Big price difference from Xline Rinsebar brush 35cm £90+ to Gardiners £40+ for there 35 extreem.

im going to try the reach it ultra lite brush i must say it looks very nice @windowswashed do you use there hi flow hose i cant find much info on it whether pole hose or reel hose ? im also looking at the radial rocker as this looks like a real good scrubber i no its heavy but rincing on the glass should counter the weight a bit ! also can you replace and change the brustles like the constructor brush as that would also be a game changer !!

I only use a rocker with blue mesh and silver stainless mesh for removing egg thrown on glass and for stubborn solar panels, the brush is too heavy for normal window cleaning.
The ultra lite I use the 18inch and occasionally the 14 inch for most of my work for maintenance cleans.
I use the hi flo hose as a pole hose which is 10mm external diameter and 8mm internal diameter so plenty of water flow so doesn't drain my battery or strain the pump.
I do one scrub downwards from the top of glass and straight pull down for a rinse if dirty. Always sheets the water even on the worst of hydrophobic glass with the rinse bars on a reach it brush as the bristles are so compact that the water sits above the bristles as it's pulled down the glass and runs around the edge of the brush when turned at a slight angle for keeping contact with the rubber seals.
Can't fault the brushes, I adapted the goosenecks to suit my personal preferences and only use their brush heads and not their goosenecks.

Don't use hot or cold, just warmish shifts the pidgeon grafitti, seagulls grafitti easy to shift, wish someone would shoot the pidgeons, too many around just lately!

i was looking at the spec and brushes take up to 60c so my heater on warm setting with lot of hose out should be perfect i hope !! what pads do you pefer on the ultra lite ? i see they only do 2 i was hoping to get the full selection like on the rocker ! :)

i work on the south devon coast lots of seagull poo and bee pollen seems there are lots of areas i clean a little inland that have bee hives ::)roll yellow blobs every were ::)roll

also did you order from the reach it web page or is there any uk supliers that stock them think it was like £600 odd dileverd for both brushes and hose

On the subject of brushes, i saw a video the other week advertsing a new smaller brush for fsg cleans, I ordered it, not cheap for what it is, and it came, god its small at only 5 inches but used it the other day and it was brilliant for the intricate cleaning of a fsg clean and also stupidly light which is handy when cleaning at some angles. the jets were also really powerful again which helped.
It was from cleanlynk and the brush is called a micro brush. Honestly, ive only used it once but it was brilliant.

I'm sure most customers wouldn't have their windows cleaned regularly if it wasn't for bird muck and bird strikes

well used the extreem 35cm flocked today. It is a lot heavier putting more stress on your lower back. It made my round finish at 2pm instead of 3pm. So saved me 1 hour . More better rinsing with 4 jets. Thought id use a lot more water but with you working quicker theres not much difference. Over all im glad of it as on bigger bi fold doors its so easier now with its coverage of the glass

Tried a constructor once then it went straight on ebay, love the concept but find them hard work and heavy.
How do you get on with top frames?
What would you say are the outweighing benefits of this brush?

Nah, the new ones with stiff out bristles are great for this!
This is the worst one of the lot for me. Those stiffer corner bristles make no difference at all. In fact, I think they make it worse! The stock design for the Xtreme brushes is completely wrong IMO. The very first, original Xtreme was much better. An oval stock might be a better idea for this brush.
