Hi all.
Just read the question on filling DI vessel and it reminded me of something I wanted to ask.
I was told that the resin in the 25kg sacks shouldn’t be left to dry out, as it will affect the efficiency of the resin.
My Question is will I find by the end of this HOT summer that it will have dried as each time I use what I need, I squeeze what air I can out of the bag & then roll the bag up and keep it closed with pegs.
Or dose any one have a useful idea about storing it?
At the moment I keep it along with my other 2 spare bags in my shed, which is like an oven most days.
Is it worth putting it into some other sort of container?
Any help welcome. Thanks

I know this is not the same thing but I keep about 25kg of caustic soda (which absorbs mositure from the air) in a 25litre screw top water container, this keeps the moisture out and is a cheap form of storage....that should do the trick.
Better safe than sorry.
Cheers
Dave.

I been thinking the same thing coz I got a sealed 25ltr bag of resin in my loft and up there its real hot. I just hope it'll be ok when I come to use it coz it aint cheap.
