I bought some of this after seeing it at the show. It’s purple pole hose, seems way lighter and softer than what I was using before.
Tried it this week, wow! Really good! Doesn’t kink or tangle anywhere near the hose I was using before.
Expensive though, but I think it’ll be worth it. Anyone else using it?
Or anyone found a pole hose that’s perfect?

What company produces it?

Streamline

I originally saw it at the show, in Ova8 poles (meh) and liked it immediately.

Thanks for the information

Wish some supplier would make 10mm outer diameter with 8mm inner diameter flexible pole hose and not the two layer minibore hose stuff which is to stiff at times and too heavy compared to Rhino tube. which I can only get as 8/,6mm which is too small.

Why is it to small ? Ime guessing you are using 2 mm jets ? You can only push so much water through them you don’t need an 8 mm supply for 2-3 mm jets

I see it says suitable for univalve.
How much of a stretch is there when pulled?
I prefer as little stretch as possible when using a univalve and hot water .

Interesting question, it is pretty stretchy to be honest.
I’ve never used a univalve, but as I understand it, you yank the pole hose to stop/start the water flow?
I think this may be too stretchy for that, but I suppose it depends on pole length. Maybe one of those things you can’t know until you try.

It's far too small for Reach-it brushes, the more flow the quicker the clean, stands to reason

Shame I don’t have a “before” picture of my orange hose birdsnest that always angers me trying to untangle.
But here is the purple hose nicely and easily coiled in my van:

Expensive at £104 plus vat & delivery for 50m, but well worth it in my opinion.
PLUS! I just today solved the problem of getting pole hose over the barb of the male slick connect connector. No softening hot water needed! (Also no superhuman strength grip needed either!)
(I made a simple tool that I can use to do it in less than a minute, and more importantly I can take with me in the van in case a connector needs replacing while working)

Bought 10m,s to see how good it is. I run with Pu hose but it can tangle until it gets hot but very light weight. Run with 100m,s on both reels for years and it seems to be bomb proof. The purple hose is more than double the cost of the Pu hose so either its very good or very over priced, will check it out when it arrives. Thanks for recommendation, anything to make our job easier is most welcome. 👍

Purple hose arrive and its similar to the stuff I buy from exceed but twice the price. It does seem to be better and less likely to get tangled. I will need to buy 100m's of the stuff to run on one of my reels to get some experience of how well it does. Watch this space!

I wouldn't be seen out and about with that colour pole hose :-*
