Title: You get what you pay for
Post by: Scottish Cleaning Service on April 07, 2025, 01:40:39 pm
Start of year I received a text to cancel as he had another company who would clean windows for £7 and I was a tenner. He came out and asked me back because they only clean glass and don't clean the doors. I reluctantly took him back and when I was cleaning the back the neighbour told me he has the £7 window cleaners. He said last time no one was in so they only did the bottoms. He knew because he checked his door cam so he called them and they said they had cleaned the tops also.
Gave him a card because I think I will pick up a few more fairly soon, so I'm glad I took him back on. The neighbour said he doesn't mind paying a tenner as long as they all get done.

Council estate where I was brought up and most have bought their council house so no rent nor mortgage. I live across the road from the estate now. I would happily clean the whole estate if I could because little travelling and home for tea breaks. Its not about how much you charge its about how many customers you have because you can clean 20 in an hour because they sit in rows with 5 houses joined together. You could clean the block of 5 in 20mins and clean 5 blocks without moving the van. 😉

Why would somebody who has bought their council house have no mortgage? They’d be just as likely to have a mortgage as someone who’s bought a non council property.  ???

Michael , i thought you said your Dad was a millionaire who owned hotels ? How you get 'brought up on a council estate' ? Actually don't explain your life story, but you may need to think twice before you start proffering it out there as you have some expertise or knowledge. Truth is , you're just winging it like the rest of us. Your back story is nonsense.
