Hi Guys,
im using biocide a lot more than i used to, mainly after pressure washing and on roof cleans.
For those that use it, should we be putting a warning sign up, to let people know what we are doing? We cant stand there for a few hours while it dries out!
Also has anyone done an online course? ive seen one or two appear online and wondered if those who have done one, found them useful? I checked and unlike weed killer, we dont need a licence to spray it, as long as you know what your doing of course!
Thanks again in advance
Steve

You talking about DDAC?

I used to use biocide but after a Softwashing course I use that now. It gives immediate results, cheaper and is only strong bleach. After 45mins it turns to salt which I tell the customer. I don't PW roofs now and just spray them and go back and scrape the dead moss off with a wfp and scraper set.

Just incorporate the COSH specifications into your RAMS , if you're spraying roofs then the birds can't read caution signs anyway :) if drives, warn home owner to keep pets and kids off for a few hours after spraying is complete. Work safely with adequate PPE and apart from that don't try and draw too much attention to yourself . the chems we use are secret recipes remember, treat your customers like mushrooms feed them sh@t and keep them in the dark.
