Title: Gotta love it
Post by: Spotfree on September 03, 2024, 07:41:05 pm
Saying no when a customer comes crawling back after dropping you for something "better".

Had one last night, then a row of three today, all of which told me a little white lie and and went off with another man.

I am an honest and reliable window cleaner, I expect the same from my customers.

Never had that problem. Do drop customers with dementia or who are abusive

They really ever learn and accept it's them to blame.  We had one on the books once who must have had every window cleaner in the area and messed each one of us around.

Correct, the rhetoric that ensued proved that. She followed up the tale that she couldnt afford it at the time so I told her that I had been informed by a neighbour she had another cleaner round shortly after and she changed the tone to something unpleasant before making out she had been trying to do me a favour by asking me back.

Thats where I ended the discussion as you cannot argue with a fool.

She had another window cleaner when she took me on, she'll probably go through the local circuit of cleaners never being happy.

I used to chuckle to myself every time I arrived at her home as her front garden is like a posterboard of instructions to "not park here", "pick up your dog mess", etc etc.  She's not happy with anyone!
