Title: Behaviour in front of Customers
Post by: Scottish Cleaning Service on June 14, 2024, 10:15:19 am
A bizarre thing happened to me the other day. I was thinking about astro turf on my front grass which looks like communal area. Its very steep and hard to cut so the grass cutter has to be very careful when cutting my bit.
I didn't want to do him out of a job but when the guy fell I went over to talk to him and his boss started shouting and told him to get on with his work, cutting the grass. So in a moment I knew I had to astro turf it and end the friendship. I have never understood why a boss would act like that in front of a customer. I think I will be the start of many when they see the astro fitted, another no brainer.

I absolutely hate astro turf.  I love the smell of freshly cut damp grass.   It's great for the wildlife and environment.     Astro turf can stink to high heaven after a while.

Horrible stuff astro turf. We've done a few jobs this year re-replacing it with proper grass.

We don't fit astro turf because it's a total pig of a job. It's like trying to lay carpet over hills and rocks.

Astro turf. Another way to screw the natural environment.

A funny thing happened to me after one particularly windy night last winter involving artificial grass. Twice the following morning I walked into customers gardens to find their entire 'lawns' in a big heap in one corner of the garden. Somehow the wind had gotten under them, then ripped them up and piled them in a big heap.

I have just fitted artificial grass in my back garden.  I get hayfever pretty bad and can't stand grass, cutting it brings me out in a rash.

Loving the random story though  ;)

Artificial grass retains the sun's heat more in summer than normal grass and isn't something dog owners appreciate.
