Never really took any notice before but after the window cleaner that got electrocuted recently it's got me thinking.....🤔

Clean these windows this morning and at least one of them it's impossible to clean without touching the wires with my pole....

Most of them are telephone.

That thicker one in the bottom three pics looks like electric.

Think about the diameter of the cables Dazmond and the outer core, do you think that mains electricity could pass through these into a building? 🙂

If it’s leccy, there is usually a yellow warning sign on the post. The usual ‘danger electric’ sign it whatever it says.

That’s thicker wire does look a bit suspect though.

That's what I was thinking.....its insulated though....its on a very old pub that dates back to the early 1800s(it's now a community centre)....ive done lots of drinking, womanising and drumming in local bands in this former pub back in the 90s... ;D

I've always been led to believe if there are those metal steps on the pole it won't be electric.  They can't have metal objects on the pole to attract current jumps.

Usually get one thick black telephone cable linking all the poles. As they say, there should be warning signs if high voltage.

I would refuse to take any of these houses on.  So dangerous.
