Hi all,

Would anyone have any recommendations in terms of equipment insurance and public liability cover please.

TIA

I have £10k tool insurance with Aplan at £500 a year. It renews next month but read what's happening in London so I expect it to rise quite a bit.

Gleam for public liability.
A plan or howdens as it is now called for tools.

Has anyone ever had to claim on their insurance for damage to a customers property ? And what was the outcome of the claim

My ladder fell on a new car and it needed a new bonnet, total cost £2k. My PLI paid out and all I had to pay was £100 excess. Well worth £120 a year for my LI and wouldn't be without it. It was with Aplan or Howdens as its now called.
