Seriously mate,
Business is like starting a relationship, if the customer likes you and what you say they will use you.
Be aware of people offering advice for a price, just do some research on the internet because theirs loads of free advice on these issues, try this forum:

you’ll get free help, I think ;D

Hi Stephen.b1, Health & Safety is mainly about commonsense, but I am sure you already know that, but please do not fall into the trap of thinking that if you obtain various bits of paper, from this forum or other places on the web, that you will comply with the law.
The paperwork is actually the easy bit! You have to show that all staff abide by the regs, that they have recieved the appropriate training, that they are monitored, that your systems and procedures etc are adhered to, and are fit for the purpose, which perhaps might explain why the company that you work for has outsourced this work to a Health & Safety Consultant!
Part of his work will be to monitor and advise his client, in order to protect the company from breaking the law, this is an on-going process, the company is protecting itself financally, legally and also the lives of all people on-site, it is just another cost that we as contractors have to bear, which should be allowed for in the prices that we quote, the proof of the pudding, so to speak, is when things go T**s UP, then if you actually, in the opinion of the H & S Executive have failed in your duties, you could be looking into a very deep, dark black hole, worst case, even being responsible legally, for someones death or serious injury.
The regs change all the time, outscource to a professional and sleep easy, you are a cleaning contractor, not a H & S expert, this message is sent in order to help, not to offend, this is also my own personal opinion, regards.
