Looking back, what things do you all wish you had or hadn't done when starting up.....   :-\

I wish I'd bought a better van

I wish I'd left the misses.....caus she spends all the extra money I earn  ::)

I wouldnt be without YP. Only spend £900 a year on advert and brings in a lot of work.
I think it depends on where you are in the country.

As for leaflets i found that a waste of money. I tried three diffrent designs and put out about 100,000 in total and didn't get much work at all.
Its all down to location.

The two things i dont regret buying are

my tom tom sat nav
             &
impact chemicals (pog) paint oil and grease remover

These are the two things i have, that have always done exactly what they are supposed to do and never let me down, would recomend both to anyone

ps. my y/p ad is useles aswell, but i have  ways to improve it if i stay in next year
