Any solar panel cleaning equipment?
How’s Canada?
-
I'm slowing down to semi retirement Matt, or I would have been talking a deal with you.
Hope all going well over the pond.
-
I’m not there yet guys. Got 2 or 3 months to go I reckon.
The only solar panel cleaning gear will be the P/W and solar panel FSC and pole.

Is it a karcher i800 type thing?
What you waiting for??!!!!!
-
Permanent residency application needs to be completed. It’s a slow process. I’m currently approx 2 months from getting approval.
Have a house and business to sell too.

With 40’ pole and HP hose.

That’s a cracking business for someone.
The numbers work out as part time hours for 70k turnover.
The right buyer will come along I’m sure.
-
How many day a week are you doing as you would hit that turnover in 2-2.5 days a week.
Cracking round do or a part timer though
-
I don’t do 8 hours a day. I’m on the glass for 4 I reckon.
Today as an example I was doing a gutter clearance job in Newbury. 30 - 35 minute drive to site. Arrive at 10. Leave at 2.30.
£430.00.
Most days I’m out the house for 6 hours. So if you prefer to work along those lines then the hourly rate needs to be adjusted downwards, by probably 20-30%.
-
How much do you think your want for it?
-
£25-£30K
-
£25-£30K
Sounds like it’s worth considerably more than that .
-
£25-£30K
BARGAIN!!!!!

I agree. Don’t know how old the van is but let’s say van and equipment is worth £15K. The fact that the average hourly rate is around £90 with a £70K turnover I would say the work alone is worth £40K minimum.

Tricky thing is, if you clean already, it’ll put you over the VAT threshold. If you’re just starting out, it’s unlikely you’ll have that sort of money lying about or be prepared to risk it.
Isn’t 8 weekly down that way?
-
Sounds like a superb round.
Perhaps suitable for someone already over the VAT threshold.
Hope all goes well slacky.

With 40’ pole and HP hose.
I’m interested in this slacky, are you happy to sell the pole and FSC?
-
Morning. I’ve changed the FSC, so it’s not the one in the image anymore. It’s the one on this page
https://www.acpressurewashers.co.uk/product/15-solar-panel-cleaner-quick-release/?v=79cba1185463
The unit will also have a whole new HP hose as the previous one has sprung a leak.
I’ll be looking to sell in time, still won’t be for a couple of months or so yet though. The pole will be available as well.
-
Hi slacky,
Could do with one before April really, let me know if that’s possible, what pole is part of the kit?
-
Probably won’t be possible before April, sorry. I’ll. check out the pole later, think it’s a 45’ SLX.
-
No probs mate.
I think I’ll purchase a new one as I’ve got a job lined up for first weekend of April that needs that kit.
-
I'm based in Whitchurch, and would be really interested in having a chat through this, cheers, Gareth
-
I'm afraid I've sold all the work. Deposit has been paid.
If you're interested in the van, with the tank and poles then they'll be for sale shortly. Im based in Oakley FYI.
