It would have been today but we seem to be underwater, again.
-
Not really decided. Next Tuesday at the earliest depending on weather and levels of boredom/motivation.
-
I went back today, 1 pub, 1 working mans club and about 6 houses so a nice early finish

Tuesday next week.missus doesn't mind sitting in all day watching telly and eating all the Xmas food but I just can't do it for longer than a day!😄
Just took the dog out for a walk and going the gym this afternoon.extra long session I think before settling in tonight to watch the man city game.
Off to B&Q tomorrow as I need some grit for the the cold months ahead.theres always a couple of artic weeks so I like to put some down on my elderly customer driveways and some commercial jobs.

I like to do little jobs that I don't do often (at this time of year).there's only so much TV and junk food I can take!
I've already reproofed my 3 work goretex jackets
Washing work fleeces and hoodies as we speak.
Jobs left to do....
Clean van and car inside and out
Flush poles out and spray with PTFE tape.
Check oil, water, top up screenwash, check tyres and lights(van needs an MOT in jan)
Clean and reshape WFP brushes
Check toolbox for spares,etc

I never have a day off dossing about I can't sit still. I've been plastering shed last couple of days making it into a gym. Still got loads of diy to do in house and sort van out. Not even had time to go fishing or get my motorbike out yet.
Need a few months off
Seriously considering employing someone again so I can work 2 or 3 days a week. I've got too much to do to be working full time
.

I built a gym in the garage once. Never used it.
I do enjoy an hour or so on a smart bike trainer though.
Wife has a running machine which is great for hanging rubbish on. Not even plugged in since the first week she bought it.

All jobs done this morning between 9am-11am.weather was dry and fine but it's gone dark here now and blowing a gale and heavy rain!😄
Off to B&Q this afternoon....need grit, detergent, industrial anti bacterial wipes(for hose) and sticky stuff remover.

I built the shed a couple of years ago (like a log cabin). I made it into a gym but I never did anything to the Inside so it just looked like a shed. I then ended up filling it with all my junk so never used it that much and ended up going to the gym up the road.
So I've built some shelving and got all my gear to one side and decided to plasterboard and make the rest of it look like a proper room. Hopefully that will be a bit more motivating to use then.
If not I've learnt how to plaster a bit, all usefull skills to learn.

Hey Lal,
Not a cloud in the sky mate, got here Christmas Eve and it's been great since! Much better than Galway that's for sure

I built a gym in the garage once. Never used it.
I did similar during the first lockdown - just before the prices went crazy - for home gym equipment.
Used it a couple of times then stopped.
It appears I need women in the gym to motivate me to go, and then to put some effort in.
It's like I'm a teeanger in a middle-aged blokes body.

Started back this morning on an industrial estate. Five well paid jobs; two hours work for two of us. No cars in the way because most of the office workers are still off.
Unfortunately on the way down there someone flashed me from behind; found out my rear lights aren't working.
So booked it into the garage soonest I can and that's Tuesday 2nd January; 12 pm.
So hopefully back to work properly on 3rd January.

I'm the same.i prefer to leave the house to workout.young fit women motivate me to workout harder plus I love to watch some of them squat!😄👍
There's also a kind of camaraderie sometimes with some of the lads that I see.as shallow as some of the small talk is I enjoy it....
Off to the gym in 30 mins, mine is only a 5 min drive away...👍

Yep back at it tomorrow.....easy day to ease myself back
23 granny flats in the morning and 1 large house(including glass roof clean)in the afternoon.
It's forecast heavy rain for most of the day so it'll help with the roof clean.👍😄
