So it looks like a franchise type of thing…
Personally I don’t see enough work for it

I guess they'll be national.

It can only fly in wind/gusts upto 15mph! Says it can do 180 bar yet the drone can only take ip45 = low pressure jets, so if a hose fractures and sprays the drone it's not going to survive.
I like the idea but I don't think it's going to work. I very much doubt just spraying on some solution and then I assume rinsing it off will actually clean the windows or cladding.
Just spotted that they are using a quadcopter - only 4 motors and props. They have no redundancy should a motor/prop or esc fail!! Surely that can't be approved for flying in public areas where they have no control over the public? That's just nuts. It must weigh about 15kg or more especially when you consider hose, fluid, 3 hour battery (they say 8 batteries gives 24hrs operation), maybe battery in rotation they can go indefinitely. They do look to be a franchise and have operations in many countries so either franchisees are very gullible or there is more to it.

I've got a licence to fly my drone for commercial purposes (inspecting gutters) it was straightforward enough. Different ballgame to this though.
The RAMS for it would be interesting.

It would have its uses for sure, but Its nothing more then another piece of kit to have in the bag really. Certainly not needed for domestic use, but I don't think its aimed at that anyway.
-
Without brushing the window, it just isn’t going to work.
-
Ideal for applying softwash solutions on high commercial buildings , but not suitable for window cleaning , it will have its uses as a specialist piece of kit ,but guess it’s pricey to buy , no idea about insurance for it ?. And only a few firms will ever go down this route .

“Spray painting
With continued development, extended testing and new partnerships with paint manufacturers, we are moving closer to the final testing fase.”
Fase? Ffs

I wonder if you can plug it into the custys tap? ;D
-
Rubbish, it won't shift dirt without physical exertion with a brush. Spraying water over dirt without loosening it is a waste of time.

check out 3mins in, doing glass balcony on residential flats, absolutely covered somebody's bbq, just imagine the grief from residents when their washing and precious possessions gets soaked in soapy solution. ;D

Yeah I saw this , imagine having a clothes maiden on your balcony and these guy come and drench everything … won’t affect us guys , maybe tall buildings next to rivers where it’s difficult to access but I can’t see how those windows are clean without any scrubbing action - I doubt it’ll take off any bird poos
