Title: the telephone book does it work

guys I have a young lady visiting me on wed to see if I will advertise in several telephone books, not the yellow pages but the standard telephone books

has anyone found a return from their advertising in the directory books
and is it worth spending money on

any replies greatly appreciated

i know my mate in Edinburgh does well from it.

its new, for the adds so not much to go on, but im giving it a try just 280 odd for a coloured add so good value, if you ok with the price give it a go i picked a job up from just a one line, its not aswell know for this sort of stuff as yell.

I think I have mentioned this before, If you ring the Thomson Local & ask for a one line advertisement & are prepared for them to try & sell you a bigger one eventually they will give you a one line advert free.

I am assuming this is still the case I did this a few years ago & every year my advert is still in the book & no charge. Bargain.
