Just felt compelled to tell you all how impressed I am with the medium tapertec extreme brush these days . It’s transformed since the stiffer bristles have been placed at the sides. I’ve been using solidly for a month now and it’s as good as new which was never the case worth the previous models
That is all

I have extremes Ive had for over a year, some more than two that are still in good shape, no curly bristles.
Just dont lean on the pole, windows just as clean

I’ve been experimenting with my technique recently with a lighter touch. Better for you as well

Oh for sure, I always try to just guide the brush around the glass under its own weight, often fall short of that but not by much.
Been ages since Ive needed physio

It's all very well saying just glide the brush over the glass. Have a look at the window later on when it's dry and you see all the insect poop still on the glass. Personally I think we need something better than a Brazilian style shaved twot to clean glass.

100 percent agree with the need for an inovative new bristle, the ones we have are almost usless in some situations.
The bug poo, yes to an extent but thats what the scrapers for. Even my tucker wont get them off without a dissproportionate amount of scrubbing

Hot water will remove it very easily it just dissolves it

I've just ordered 4 new xtreme brushes (stiff versions)and the edge bristles are made of different material to the rest of the bristles hopefully this will make them a bit longer lasting.
Mine are usually destroyed and fit for the bin within 2 months.hot water destroys most brushes.

Bug poo is a real problem on one particular estate I clean in summer(most houses back onto large farmers fields).hot water helps a lot but I still need to spray the window first and an extra scrub or 2 on really bad panes and frames.they are a nightmare to clean with cold water.its only over the last 5 years or so that they seem to be worse than ever for some reason.
Going into autumn now so less of a problem for the next 7 months! ;D

I find ones near cattle fields near end of summer where bug mess is darker in colour and just wont come off, stains real bad. Even TFR no good. Wierd thing is its usualy dissapeared by Jan.
I reckon theyre biting the cattle that time of year or something.

You forget how is easy window cleaning is in the winter after a long summer, weathers crap but windows easy.

Also less garden furniture about and customers not as inclined to come out talking to us slowing us down in the colder months 🤣
