Been asked to quote a building site - 25 houses. On their cleaning schedule it states that stickers are to be removed using a tempered steel blade. - Fair enough, however it then goes on to state that blades with a bevelled edge are not permitted as they may scratch the glass.
Is there a razor without a bevelled edge?
Think I might walk away on this one.

What a load of rubbish we need a Carpenter but he must use a 50 year old claw hammer no nail guns allowed lol,you want the ones without a bevelled edge anyway the only ones I know like that now are the old red Stanley scrapers and they used to scratch the glass big time.
Get an Unger or similar 5-6” scraper with replacement blades they are by far the best you can turn the blade round when one side gets blunt.

You could ask them to supply the scrapers or tell you which ones they insist on you using.

Sounds like it’s written by a QS that has previous experience from some cowboy scratching hell out of the glass and wanting to cover his own arse:

They are right about the bevelled edge scrapers though they are awful.
-
Just going to give them a site specific method statement and specify that their cleaning schedule is a load of old bolox.

Don’t worry if any glass is scratched it’s usually cleaning contractor that pays for it.

I use magic sponge pads on the inside of brush velcroed in placed, comes off after several scrubs.
