Its grim up north ;D

Looks very much like Teesside Window Cleaners advert.
The O/P Kinderbueno was sanctioned for promoting Harun's shop, leading to the suspicion that the o/p and Harun are one and the same.
-
I suppose that would be good money if it was 1985 ;D

Use your own kit for £17-20 per hour lol what planet is this guy on 😂😂😂😂😂
-
Im sure his inbox will be flooded with interest ;D

Jesus H. Imagine living 30 miles from Middlesborough and you have to drive to the office at the start and end of the day before you go home. Basically you'd be better off on the dole after you've paid for your vehicle, fuel, insurance, kit etc...
Phuck that.

And I expect they are £6 or £7 houses 😂😂
-
Do people really spend up to 25K for a vehicle and kit and aspire to work for minimum wage these days?
-
maybe they do...... this caught my eye in the supermarket today...

Plenty of blokes out there would swap their job for £160 a day shining windows, i suppose the caveat is owning your own van and system, seems a bit odd that you wouldn’t already have your own round if you’ve got that far!

Unfortunately we aren't able to get the prices for window cleaning you guys command down south.
£10 for a 3 bed semi in most areas I've found is about the limit, and yes, he will still want his cut.
So if you want to earn a decent living then you have to have a compact round and run a splash and dash policy. I lost a 3 bed 1940's semi on the main road into our town to someone cheaper. I was charging £8. This was 2 years ago.
If this advert is from who we think it is, then he was thinking about starting a franchise window cleaning business to run along side his current employee/employer business. I'm pretty sure this is a 'test the water' advert with a franchise twist.
He did advise on Facebook that they were reducing the number of vans on the road by one due to the economic downturn late last year. He has lost another this year as well as an employee in that accident.
Last year he advertised for an experienced window cleaner paying from £10 (minimum wage area) to_£14 an hour who will clean windows in the rain and also serve in the shop.
Showing up at the unit before and after the days work just shows a level of distrust, especially when a tracker can do a similar job imo.
He wants all the benefits of an employee but none of the costs.

do the OP realize that we are now in 2023 NOT 1950

The concept doesn't make sense to me.

It's amazing what some window cleaners will work for....i bumped into another shiner yesterday cleaning a 4 bed house I dumped years ago and he was charging £15!I was charging £20 10 years ago and then I thought it was underpriced as it had a large conny on the back....
I've had guys trying to undercut some of my jobs by charging half price...idiots! ::)roll

I agree.they probably would but not if they had to buy their own van and system...
30-35k a year is considered a good full time job here in Salford

This has nothing to do with my company which is TYNESIDE WINDOW CLEANING .CO

I think it sounds bang on . I ticked all the boxes and was gunna reply until I noticed the last one . Totally gutted I live 31 miles outside Middlesbrough. Oh well the dream was nice while it lasted .

Who's supplying the water?
-
After much consideration and it's been a very difficult decision as I was near to relocating to 29 miles to Middleborough to take up this exciting and very lucrative position, but alas with a heavy heart it's sadly a no, but I'm sure this vacany will be filled in no time, cheers for asked ng though

theres a Spotless station on his premises doorstep. maybe thats why he needs you to start and finish at his office So he can fill your 500 litre water tank for the next days work up via his Spotless water Fob

He's been processing his own water for years using resin only.

Assuming the water is purified fully is there a problem with using resin only?

Ask Dazmond, I think he uses DI only. Might not answer though cuz I think he's gone somewhere for 11 days. Not sure but pretty sure he said he was going somewhere for 11 days. It was 11 days wasn't it? 11 days seems to ring a bell. Come to think of it it was 11 days.

Really? He never mentioned it.

No problem. However, our water is 132 to 147ppm and he has (had) 8 vans on the road a while back. So to me, purifying water with resin only doesn't make sense on that scale.
