Title: Skyvac Industrial 85 filter
Post by: davids3511 on March 05, 2023, 09:24:19 pm
Anybody know where I can get one other than an official Skyvac? I'm not paying £65 for a vac filter.

I think they are the only place but I have just bought a couple and paid  £50 each

Yeah, it's hard to get the exact dimensions on Amazon for example. I though I had it a few times, but they  are few mill out and the sealing cap won't clamp on. I might have to stump up!

Yeah, same as but I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative.

I see - don't use filters on mine for gutter clearing

Unfortunately they are needed it’s surprising how much dirt they get on them even when it’s like a slurry  without the filter it will go into the motors of impellers on the interceptor

£65 per year isn't that bad.

They don’t necessarily last a year it depends how much work you have done , but I agree it’s thousands of pounds of work before they need replacing so cheap as chips
