Hi
New store opening near me so wondered if anyone cleaned ASDA's and who
do you contact.
How does WFP cope with the long panes of glass.
Cheers

I know mite have a lot of tesco contracts and maybe they do asda?
Just pop in a speak to the manager or the site manager or even pop a tenders letter into asda hq.

A massive firm called City do the cleaning for *all* ASDAs but they sub out the window cleaning. You'll need to have nationwide capabilities to be in with a shout though.
I used to work for the firm that has/had the window cleaning sub-contract, and about *8 months* ago I heard they were struggling - trying to sub out the sub-work to my other old firm in Brum. Not surprising as the gaffa is a useless, thieving con merchant.

Vissap have the window cleaning contract for asdas. They offered me Sc unthorpe and Grimsbys asda over the phone the other week, but the price per store was silly money. i laughed told them the price was no where near what I would be looking for.

Hi Guys
Vissap have most of the Asda stores, I think they pay £15 per store.Dont all
rush at once.
-
city is a joke, slave lab, low low money, saw a couple a guys cleaning the insides and out, took them about 15mins all in about 80 glass panes lol, you only get what you pay for, these guys obviasly did not have there hearts in it, i know who they are to, but i dont blame them, and no i was not spying lol, just waiting for my wife to come out from shoping ;D
-
Are City and Vissap conected in any way ?
-
we were doin 2 asda`s in our area for vissap both @ £80 each, but after a year or so with no probs at all they contacted us and asked if we would drop our price by 20% as they could no longer afford to pay our price because they were bein told by asda head office to drop there prices, anyway at the end of it all we left it, gave them a month`s notice and have never heard off them since, but i must say we never had any probs with payment etc with vissap.

A newAsda opened near me , Vissap contacted me and asked if I was interested. They told me it would work out at about £25 per hour. I asked them who decided how long it would take me to clean them . They told me it would only take 1 hr, but I told them I was not interested. You will need £5m public liability insurance.
The phone number I was given was Mon/Fri 01347 810010 / fax01347 811010
There head office is in York

We need to club together and give these guys a run for their money, I think
they are taking the mickey when they expect our insurance to cover them,
as well as paying the guy peanuts to clean the windows.
Think someone needs to speak to ASDA's, watch this space. ;)

Yep, that's them. Before I started on my own, I worked for them for two weeks via a jobcentre ad stating - £350 for a 40 hour week in the Walsall area. I was desperate at the time so went for it. The work involved doing 4 to 8 ASDA's a day anywhere from Stafford to *Wisbech* (from Walsall ???). Anyway, the 1st week, he paid me £250 gross - not £350 - then the 2nd week, I got £120-ish for doing more work than the 1st week :o
Well I just dumped the w@anker on the spot, although I didn't tell him ;D The following Monday, he had the nerve to ring up asking if everything was Ok. I just said, " Get your van" and put the phone down.
