No...

You ll need a hozelock fitting from Gardiners specifically for microbore to make it work.

I have one fitted to 20m microbore for outside taps(to wash my van in summer).

Yes.... but you need a barbed reducer.  One end fits microbore and t'other garden hose. Then you just have a short (4" or so) piece of garden hose to fit the connector to. This way allows you to use 'any' Hozelock type fitting.😎👌

What I have also done before (but can't remember whether it was 6mm or 8mm hose) was to push the smaller hose into the garden hose and put a jubilee clip around it, instead of using a reducer.

Ah yes, I think Gardiners made me something like that years ago to fit microbre to a garden tap when washing down a conservatory roof thus saving pure water (never used it, must be in my spares box somewhere).

The reason I ask was because I have an old reel of microbore in the garage doing nothing that could be put to use in the garden etc rather than binning the lot.

Don't know if you've ever tried watering the gsrden with microbore but........ there's hardly any flow!!

Nigel will frown on that because you're looking to save some money 💪

If you want to do a quick bodge , push a small length of garden hose over your microbore and jubilee clip in on then use your standard hose lock
