				Decided to give a Phantom pole a try after 12 years with Gardiners. I'd try it; if I liked it it would become an option for the franchisees.
 
 Ordered from Window Cleaning Warehouse.
 Arrived.
 Couldn't open the bottom section, it was jammed.
 Emailed asking them to ship a replacement.
 A day later they agreed to do so.
 Received notification they would collect.
 Checked they'd be dropping off the replacement at the same time.
 Was told "no".
 I asked why.
 The reason? I might not send the pole back.
 I suggested that in that case they should take the pole back, cancel the whole deal and refund.
 They agreed.
 They collected the pole last week.
 
 Today I've come back to a pole delivered in a comically damaged shipping tube.
 
 Should I be surprised to experience this level of service or is it typical of them?

				I’ve never had a problem with them, always had my order delivered well packaged in a timely manner. I use them a couple of times a year.

				Yeah I’ve always found them to be quick and provide a good service,the only problem I had was they sent me out the wrong size elbow for my hose reel but once I called them they got me one for the next day.

 Perhaps it is implied by your using Gardiners poles for 12 years?

				I won’t use wcw  anymore , I only dealt with them now and again but every time there was a problem , wrong stuff sent , bits missing, they then disputed it and wanted to charge me again for theses bits so told them they could collect the remaining stuff and have it back they refused , so I contacted my credit card company and got a full refund on my card . Will never deal with them again . 
 
 Gardiner’s are in a totally different league, great pity   they only sell there own products now as I got the vast major of the stuff we needed from them  , on the rare occasion that something was wrong it was sorted straight away . Excellent customer service .

 Exactly! But you have to remember that big, superior Vin doesn't suffer fools!
