Hi there,
I run a medium sized domestic cleaning co in bedford. One of my employees found some stainless steel cleaner unders a client's sink and decided to try and clean the sink with it. Unfortunately she didnt read the instructions and left it on without rinsing carefully. Now the sink looks awful, all blotchy with rainbow streaks on it. Anyone got any ideas how I can rectify this? I really dont want to have to buy a new sink which looks like what might have to happen as I have to pay the first £250 of all insurance claims.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!!
Thanks
Sharon

try a metal polish called Peek, you can get it at hardware shops, Ive have this happen to me and the polish worked

hi there
the other alternative is to use the same cleaner on it all again, and do the whle thing.

Hi
Go to your Local hardware store and get
' Bar Keepers Friend'
It is about £3.50, put it on the sink and rub in with a scourer and a little water and then leave for about 1 minute then rinse off, you may need more than 1 application.
I have salvaged many sinks withthis product, even one damaged by acid!
