Hi all,
First post for a while.
I've just bought a new water genie booster for my 4040 ro, plumbed in etc and my pressure gauge is showing 40 psi? Is this a normal "operating pressure" as they are meant to be 150 psi?
Cheers

I used to use a 40x40 with that kind of pressure as you say they are designed to be used under much more and they produce masses of water about 100psi compared,my booster pump puts it up to 120psi and it fills my other 1000 tank in 3 hours.

Thanks mate. Is you pressure gauge reading 120 psi?

Yes m8 bang on 120.
Blimey, that's good! I'm wondering if this one is faulty then. What pump are you using?

What have you set your waste valve to or is it one with a hole drilled in? Normally you can increase pressure by limiting waste as long as you have 50% ish going to waste.
-
Mines pre set and by looking I can see more than 50% goes to waste but it makes water very quickly like I said it’ll fill my tank in around 3 hours.

Mine is set to 60/40
