Right I've hurt my shoulder and struggled to reel in 80m of hose today.
Who has an electric reel... What you got and what's good and bad about it

We have two from Grippa, not had any issues with them.

You must have the only 2 problem free reels they have produced 😂😂😂😂😂

We have twin stack stainless reels from pure freedom in one van and all the other vans have waterworks 3 D reels both are good , pf are expensive but seam quite good but are a big footprint and the water inlet fitting does stick out the side of the reels a long way

Two electric SS Grippa reels over one year of daily issues free use.

Had 4 of them with multiple faults , wired wrong from the factory which they denied but I could prove , Main centre shaft kept coming out of the gearbox mounted in the main end bearing , the control box one went faulty , and so the list went on I have a video of it all but cannot post  it on hear , the hose from the centre spindle inlet rubbed through the main electric wire shorting the reel out and there fix for that was a bit of plastic tubing  cut with a hacksaw that wasn’t Evan straight on a reel that costs 1k !!!!!!!!  . I don’t want to slag them off but the customer service was abysmal .  Some of there stuff is very good but the reels from my experience and several others I know have had nothing but issues with them , glad you have had found them ok

Zoom in on the wiring in the centre of the reel to see the wiring shorted out ,the reel seized up solid and it took over 3 hours to cut the hose off the reel one foot at a time , not sure if the video will load ?? I've got 8 Pure Freedom Reelmasters and haven't had a single problem in 3 years, no joke.
They are the best in the world

I’ve got a 3d waterworks reel. Really pleased with it. It could possibly be better with a speed controller of some sort. Am going to buy another one for my employee sometime soon. And i like the fact they will never rust.

Pure freedom for me, no problem with mine since I've had it

In the meantime put 100m of reinforced polehose on your reel until you decide.
Light as a feather.

				Hey, JP how are you!
I had the first waterworks leccy reel (the one squeaky clean Dave on YouTube copied) with no problems. Upgraded to their second offering, the HD model I think and again no problems.

I need to add 3rd reel, as light as possible. Is PowerUP3D lightest electric reel at 12kg? Thanks
