so for nearly all my fascias and gutters , I now completely spray with hypo mix, and then gently scrub and rinse off wfp.
I have found it's about 30% faster than TFR.
I have been using about 1 part hypo to 15 parts water.
my question is to those that use a hypo mix .
what strength mix do you guys use on fascias and gutters .... of course the grime on the job is a factor , but just speaking in general terms ?
I look forward to answers from the spotty T shirt brigade ;D ;D

For general plastic cleans 10-1 is fine you don’t need a strong mix. Spray on leave a couple of muinits light rub rinse job done , we have found using a slightly stronger mix 7-1 on white plastics that have gone grey quite often it will remove some if not all of the grey , just be aware stronger mixes can turn white plastic yellow/brown but once rinsed off will revert back to white within 2-12 hours .

The only time I use hypo on s/f/g - is when roof cleaning as all the kit is in use and it’s applied about 1 in 10
If it’s stand along job we use tfr - I found that too many uniforms are ruined - sweats - tees - trousers become a blotchy mess

I pretty much always use low strength mix maybe 2%, spray on with a backpack and a single gardiner spray tip, leave to dwell, then a light scrub off.
Sounds like you’re doing it well!
And yes, all my clothes are ruined. Primark t-shirt replacements regularly ;D although to be fair, when doing SFG cleans, it’s less messy, and more controlled with a slower application, so less mess.
You can now buy a single spray tip adapter from gardiners, but I’ve had the old red fan jet setup for years, pushed straight into the 5mm pole hose which I’ve cable tied in position on a bare quick lock angle adaptor. It’s perfect for controlled spraying of gutters/facias.
Often I actually use the fan jet with normal water after the hypo has sat for 15 mins to ‘blast off’ the dirt. Means no scrubbing at all. This is obviously dependent on how dirty they are.
I hate scrubbing gutters 8)

I also have the single fan jet spray adapter from gardiners . I find it covers better and the hypo mix goes further. great piece of kit at little expence ;D

Honestly I've never needed to use more than fairy liquid in a bucket. Dip brush and turn on the wfp.... Fan jets job done

Depending what state the plastics are in hypo will make them look like new much better than any soap type cleaning agent , it’s not a miracle cure but does make a big difference to most white plastics , the worst bit is the drips going on you .

You can clean most gutters/facias with just water, it’s just that the hypo makes it really easy.

A hypo mix will knock on average about 30% off the time it takes.
less effort , more of a gentle rub with the brush as opposed to a scrub. the results are also better
as I get older I want to save as much energy as I can.

I did a conservatory clean yestersay, popped half a bottle of domestos (and some scent mask) in my backpack. Wow it worked great and saves me forking out £30.00 for a barrel of hypo 😁👍
